I have been in awe recently of the winter full moon. The amount of light it generates on the face of the earth breathes new life into an often-unappreciated term known as Moonshadow. In fact, Moonshadow makes daylight shadow look like an imposter. How is it that the light of day can hide only what the light of the moon in the darkness can reveal. I suggest to you that perhaps we are living in just such a time when the brightness of the day hides what’s in the shadows and then we discover only the light of the moon in the darkness reveals all. The answers are not always visible in the daylight. Sometimes they are better seen in the less invasive moonlight. I hope you have had a moment to appreciate the light in the darkness. I look forward to welcoming you all back to church this coming Sunday, January 23rd. The infection rates are decreasing radically each day.  It’s time to be together together again. We worship at 8:00 and 10:30 am wearing masks and social distancing. God bless us all.
