This is the day the Lord has made. Let us rejoice and be glad in it. I’m excited about the improving prospect of our being able to resume worshiping together in the near future as permission has been given for regions in Phase 2 of reopening to convene gatherings at 25% of occupancy. Social distancing and the other guidelines for gatherings including continual sanitizing and wearing masks are part of that equation. I was encouraged to see in Newsday today racism as being referred to as a virus and a suggestion that all we have been learning about the value of life and our responsibilities to each other because of the COVID virus should help us in the battle against the virus of racism. All the time God is good. God is good all the time.
